Is July 27, 2012 a Holiday in the Philippines?

> July 27, 2012 is a celebration of 98^th founding anniversary of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), the largest independent Christian Church in Asia and primarily in the Philippines.

And in pursuance with Republic Act 9645, signed by former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in 2009, July 27, a Friday, is declared a special national working holiday "in recognition of its (INC) exemplary feat of leading its members towards spiritual enlightenment and good citizenry."

As per DOLE working pay rules, for work performed on a special working holiday, an employee is entitled only to his basic rate. No premium pay is required since work performed on said days is considered work on ordinary working days.
